AM I NORMAL? I TRIED TO AVOID THIS

I am aware of the ongoing turmoil in the race for the establishing the Democrat party Senate candidate for the November election in the state of Main.

Then there came to be apparent credible accusations that Graham Platner was an abuser of women: Graham Platner drops out of Senate race, allowing Maine Democrats to replace him

And then there came the next set of aspirational Graham Platner Democrat Senate candidate replacements. And among them was a trans lady named Ashly Webb who during the debates you could tell was different. She looked different, she spoke different and my point of view on such things is to allow her to speak and lay out what and how she thought and let the people of Main decide who they wanted for their Democrat party Senate representative. I respect Ms. Webb stepping into the political spotlight and sharing her perspective.

But that act of choosing to step into the political spotlight comes with the inevitable consequences as your words, philosophy and thought process are ruthlessly analyzed and investigated.

I think we all have an expectation that especially in politics you want the smartest, most "normal" and sharpest knife in the draw in order that they be effective in the job of representing their constituency (YOU) in the ruthless world of American politics. And that highest of expectations is rarely realized because people, human beings are a complex mix and hidden within them there are things, both light and dark, that may exist that are not apparent and hidden within. And that is the human condition. All potentials good, bad and everything in between exist in humanity.

I left Ms. Webb, her differences and her candidacy alone and allowed our system and process to play out. BUT then this morning what do I see?

I think this is probably all a made-up political smear campaign, I have never heard of such a thing even in the wackadoodle radical Left "progressive" rhetoric. So, I begin as usual to first prove the fraud and the smear as happens on both sides of politics and in the media of the day. You must be very careful reading or absorbing media in all its forms today because of the very sophisticated manner that it is used, usually as a political weapon of manipulation. Which I totally understand.

And what do I find? Ms. Webb apparently spent considerable time discussing her self-identified condition on Reddit.

Ashly Webb: "When someone pushed back against her claims, she explained experiencing cramps and feeling something abnormal in her lower abdomen. “Every month, during intense pain, there’s something bothering me on both sides,” she stated, indicating that her “period” seems to occur because there’s no “proper hole.”

MODIBODI: "Can a transgender woman have a period? Absolutely. Many trans and gender-diverse people menstruate. Whether you’re a woman, a man, non-binary or agender, your body may menstruate too."

Now you can draw your own conclusions about who it is that you want at the levers of political power and control. The people who become politically empowered who directly affect the American economy, the military, the passing of legislation and crafting of policy, the confiscation of and the spending of your tax dollars, you must figure that out. But there are lines to be drawn, and those lines must be drawn within certain reasonable lines of normality and a plausible recognition of reality. To run for a prominent political position of real political power, influence and control means that everything that you have ever said or done will come under the media and the people's spotlight and high-powered microscope. And there will be consequences as the people attempt to match your personal philosophy, aspirational political ambitions with their interpretation of what real reality in their lives is.

I wish Ms. Webb all the best in her life and her ability to find meaning, prosperity and peace.
