CAPITALISM X's NERD = EARTHS / MARS ENERGY FUTURE

Capitalism is always the solution, NEVER Socialism.

Capitalism like all constructs of man can become a problem if abused, and all constructs of man can and will be abused. But ultimately when you put real need in line with human intellect (Nerds) and technology within the structure provided by the Constitution (Individual freedom) plus Capitalism (incentive) in finding real solutions to real problems, that is where a consistent positive prosperous future lies, FOR EVERYONE.

This company, TERRAFORM INDUSTRIES from what was stated in the video by its CEO has apparently demonstrated the ability in a more simplified manner than the Sabatier Reaction to turn sunlight into electricity using inexpensive solar panels, separating hydrogen from oxygen with it and through their process turn the result into natural gas (methane). All accomplished using the existing CO2 in the air and minimizing the need to extract oil and gas from the earth through drilling. An apparently clean, simple, cheap, efficient and potentially profitable process that eliminates the production of volatile pollutants and negates the need to further extract carbon in the form of oil from the ground.

This process appears to be effective and promising at this moment in time as they continue to prove their technology and look to scale up their production. I will be looking for their IPO whenever that may take place, hopefully soon.

And given this simplified technology I am sure someone like Elon Musk (SpaceX) who is apparently so intent on landing on Mars and developing a colony there will be keenly interested in this simplified technology that manufactures methane. (I will not be making that journey) Remember: Mars has only 1 percent of the atmosphere pressure of earth and it is primarily 95 percent CO2.

One of the many, many technological issues with landing on Mars and living to talk about it after a 9month weightless space journey and landing is the lack of fuel for the return trip to earth. This simplified process would make that production of fuel possible.
