DO YOU SEE THE PARALLEL?

The new Ideological Moralists in the Democrat party and increasingly on the extreme Left call themselves "Democrat Socialists". Well guess who else started out pandering and calling themselves similar? It is all about semantics, symbolism and propaganda.

The extreme Right: "The National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP), commonly known as the Nazi Party, was founded in 1920. While the party included the word "Socialist" in its name, this was largely a strategic choice to attract working-class voters and broaden its appeal, rather than a reflection of genuine socialist ideology"

Rational and reasonable Americans exist in the meaty middle working class where the Constitution structures their good lives where their freedom is ensured. And the authoritarian extremists on either ends of the political spetrum seek to usurp for their ideological moralistic political power and control the Constitution. And today it is the extremeist anti Constitution Leftist within the Democrat party that dominate this particular political aspirational position today.

And for this exact reason is why the Founders did NOT choose a direct Democracy but chose a Democratic Republic as the proper form of governance for a truly free people.

"A Democratic Republic: Is a form of government where supreme power rests with the people, exercised through elected representatives within a constitutional framework.". And what is core to the radical Leftist Democrats today?

Eliminate the electoral college from the Constitution and create exactly what the Founders feared, a direct Democracy. A DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC NOT A DEMOCRACY

The terms "Democratic" and "Socialist" is a Marxist samantics / propaganda political pandering mechanism that seeks, just like the radical Right Hitler movement, to attract segments of the meaty middle of the American public to empower their authoritarian "Democratic" ideology.
