I hate the term "Stepping Up". Someone said that to me once and my response was: "Please, don't tell me what I need to be doing.". I rather the term "Taking Care of Business", that suits me better.
And given my particular view on the term you have to recognize when someone who has done well in America because of America and does something that can be of real consequence especially in the interests of young people and their financial future. They choose to "Step up" or they choose to "Take care of business".
"NEW YORK (AP) — Billionaires Michael and Susan Dell pledged $6.25 billion Tuesday to provide 25 million American children under 10 an incentive to claim the new investment accounts for children created as part of President Donald Trump’s tax and spending legislation."
Will Michael Dell and his wife committing $6.25 billion dollars of their well-earned American wealth due to their existing in America and being able to benefit from the structure of the Constitution and the power of Capitalism inspire other well-heeled billionaires to do the same or similar?
(Except Elon, he is saving his money to build rockets to get to and settle Mars. Settling planets is expensive :)
These personal overt financial choice commitments by American 1 percent billionaires who by the numbers already pay at least 40 percent of the taxes collected by the government could go a long way to defusing the radical Lefts / Democrat party leadership "We hate America, I hate Capitalism" "We love the Socialist flood the country with illegals" takeover agenda.
It will be interesting to see how this develops, who else will "Step Up?".
