NEVER SAY NEVER IN POLITICS: BUT THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN

Now to begin here, I like Ted Cruz, I think he is a great Senator. That being said, HE (IMO) WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT!
Alan Dershowitz regarding his student, Ted Cruz: "Cruz “was an outstanding student in my class,” Dershowitz said. “Without a doubt he is among the smartest students I’ve ever had… I’ve had great students, but he has to be at the top of anyone’s short list, in terms of raw brain power.”
Being smart, and I love to listen to Ted Cruz depose people in the Senate during their testimony, but raw brain power and being brilliant does not a president make.
Ted Cruz unfortunately will never fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming the president of the United States of America. Just not happening. I would have to put him in the unelectable presidential candidate bucket 180 degrees on the other end of the spectrum from Hillary Clinton and for the same fundamental reasons: He is too harshly seen as being Conservative, while Hillary is seen as being too cold, ruthless, Liberal even Socialist and a U.N. Globalist.
And then there is the likability issue, just like Hillary who is very smart, but she is just not a personable and likeable human being. Ted Cruz is also very smart but is not seen as a warm, personable and likeable human being. And to become the president of the United States of America you must be seen to be able to transcend your mortal limitations.
Transcend:
: to rise above or go beyond the limits of
: to triumph over the negative or restrictive aspects of : overcome
: to be prior to, beyond, and above (the universe or material existence)"
Those basic reasons and of course because he looks like Grand Pa Munster are why Ted Cruz will never become the president :)
Sorry, Ted, remain effective as a weapon of mass destruction in the Senate against the Liberal now Leftist and even Communist desperate anti America Democrat party leadership.
