ON ELECTION DAY: THE PROBLEM WITH THE LEFT

Respect an individual's right to think, speak, be and choose as they see fit. No reasonable person will argue with the proposal that makes mutual respect for anothers choices paramount in a civilized country. AS AN INDIVIDUAL. Although some choices in life may be odd or offensive to other people. You cannot have everything.

That is just reality. I dont have to like every choice other people make, but I do have to respect their choices as long as they not FORCE me, especially through government, against my better judegment to do, think or believe ANYTHING. Remeber: All government is FORCE. How much FORCE do you desire in your life?

And what the Left DEMANDS is that you abandon all your common sense and adopt an irrational interpretation of what reality is. And if you refuse to surrender all your common sense and your right to think, be and choose, they then define you as being biased, a bigot, a racist, a Fascist or worse. YOU ARE BAD.

Another example: A "progressive" Democrat friend tells me regarding a several million-dollar proposed local construction and logicitics project in the news I asked their opinion about.

"progressive" Democrat response: "I'm many things, but an engineer isn't one. That's what the bill on the table is about: a feasibility study to figure out where a stop could work. I'm looking forward to seeing what the experts say.". Hmmm.

So, my friend, (they are a friend) freely embraces their limitations and lack of expertise regarding the feasibility of a significant multimillion dollar public construction and logistics project. That is a reasonable, rational and well thought out response.

BUT the Left the "progressives", the Democrats which they are a part of are fully qualified to: Run and restructure a $32 TRILLION DOLLAR economy, abandon Capitalism for a mutant version of Socialism, rewrite the United States Constitution, run the American military, reorder the legal system, remove the country's borders, give free healthcare to the world, give "free" housing, "free" education, "free" legal services and on and on the list goes. "FREE" everything.

They recognize they are not in the least bit qualified to even comment on the feasibility of a small public works project, but they and their political associates are overqualified to restructure the most powerful, influential and dominant country and government on planet earth. Hmmm.
