*SANCTUARY CITY* LAW IS NO LAW

If you listen to the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, he will tell you that "We have to change our sanctuary city laws". Referring to his self-created $12 billion dollar illegal immigrant invasion of NYC crisis. What are the facts?

The Sanctuary City "Laws" are in fact executive order policies originally instituted by mayor Ed Koch and pretty much every mayor since has left the executive order in place. In other words, IT IS NOT A LAW BUT IS A MAYORAL EXECUTIVE POLICY ORDER.

"The creation of local sanctuary policies in New York City go back at least to 1989 when then-Mayor Ed Koch signed an executive order creating the city’s first sanctuary policy, which bars city officials from sharing information about immigrants unless it’s regarding a criminal matter, or there’s express written permission by an individual immigrant to do so. The order was reissued by Mayor David Dinkins, and again by Mayor Rudy Guiliani."

The only LAW duly passed was a law that limited the city's departments from cooperating with I.C.E which is a federal agency concerned with finding, arresting and deporting those individuals who are in the country illegally.

"The first city LAW limiting the local government’s cooperation with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) — as opposed to an executive order —  came in 2011. In 2014, under then-Mayor Bill de Blasio, city lawmakers expanded the protections, limiting when and how the city’s police and correction departments could cooperate with ICE. "

“Sanctuary policies have no bearing at all on how crime is prosecuted,” City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams said at a Thursday press conference. “They don’t conceal or shelter people from detection, nor do they shield people from deportation or prosecution for criminal activities.”

So, what is the logical conclusion? The mayor of New York City can under an executive order end or modify the sanctuary city policy and create another policy that actually deals with the self-created illegal immigrant crisis problem. Eric Adams is right now able to do just that, again if you were to apply logic to the problem. There is a difference between towing the political agenda line and actual leadership.

Remember, there are always two conversations ongoing, and you are really not a part of one of them. But you are supposed to believe that you are. Self-delusion is a mental disorder.

First as a politician you create a crisis whether through incompetence or political agenda. And then you propose your Subjective political truth and morally based solution, and you morally berate the people who point out that you have in fact created the crisis.

Both a president and a mayor essentially ARE THE LAW as per their sworn fiduciary responsibilities of their offices in the interests of the people and the country. And so, when they choose to allow what is counter to rational thought, common sense and their sworn fiduciary responsibilities to their office and the interests of the people and country, then they have chosen irrational thought and no common sense and to surrender their fiduciary responsibilities to the people and the country. And there is a term for that, starts with "T" ends with "EASON".

And now you can clearly understand, government is not about truth and morality in the least, government is about maintaining its power and control.

Yeah, the Mayor can't do anything about the sanctuary "law" like the (p)Resident can't do anything about the border...but still there are people who believe them. The American people have been ruled by everything but the law for a long time--secret courts with no-knock warrants that are unconstitutional; rules and regulations promulgated by unknown, non-elected bureaucrats; Executive Decrees; and (the really good one!) Emergency Powers. At this point, Congress, along with its State and City counterparts, are completely unnecessary. The tinpot dictators running everything can simply issue a diktat, and presto! Their will be done.

To your point: "Both a president and a mayor essentially ARE THE LAW as per their sworn fiduciary responsibilities of their offices in the interests of the people and the country.
