MORE GOVERNMENT IS NEVER THE ANSWER

Why should or would government get involved and encroach, undermine and replace private business? To seriously propose such a thing is by definition Communistic. YOU ARE A COMMUNIST!

Zohran Mamdani's NYC grocery stores scheme draws fresh scrutiny as video of empty, city-owned Missouri market goes viral

“It’s like a public option for produce,” he said in one of his slick TikTok videos. “We will redirect city funds from corporate supermarkets to city-owned grocery stores whose mission is to lower prices, not price gouging."

And this means that the NYC government under a Mamdani administration will be confiscating the private property and wealth of corporations and individual private American citizens and "redirect" it all to THEIR operations? REALLY? Government is FORCE! And you want the minimal amount of government force in your life as per the Constitution.

These stores will operate without a profit motive, or having to pay property taxes or rent, and will pass on those savings to you. They’ll partner with small businesses and nearby farms and sell at wholesale prices.”

In this economic model money has no value. And that is why naive, idealistic and delusional concepts like this are doomed to failure. No one has any incentive to excellence and making anyone especially a customer and consumer happy in any way shape or form. A dark dead end as proven by history related any group of people who have foolishly employed it.

Where in your common sense as a free American citizen does what Mr. Mamdani, a self-described Democrat Socialist (Read: Communist) proposes, the GOVERNMENT usurping private business sound like a good, rational and viable move that is in the interests of the public and the country?

What is it about Communists? (I mean "Democrat Socialists") The history of Socialism and Communism, little difference between the two, is clear. But there is always a "NEW" incredibly informed, idealistic, highly and "correctly" educated generation. A "NEW" Communist movement that righteously believes they are going to really make it work this time!

There is no such thing as "Communist" light! The concepts of Communism stand in direct opposition to Capitalism and a market based in the private sector establishing prices and the concepts contained within the Constitution. They are natural enemies.

Government on all and every level is the most inefficient, wasteful and the least economical and most authoritarian when allowed entity on the face of the earth! On every level! It takes government 5 times more in time and capital or more what it takes the private sector to accomplish anything.

But big government American Communists believe that the problem is always "Greedy" "Profit" motivated Capitalists and the existence of private property that is the greatest problem, the greatest threat to the people in America and on planet earth.

You know, everything that America is Founded on and about and has been proven solidly without question to the world to be the one system that has freed and made prosperous the most people in 10,000 years of human history!

But big government American Communists know better. Especially when they are 33 years old, have never had a real job or have paid a bill of consequence, a mortgage or a real estate tax bill because they have lived in their wealthy mommy and daddy's mansion for the majority of their existence.

Yeah, makes perfect sense to me. Communist, I mean "Democrat Socialist", Zohran Mamdani is exactly the person I would choose as mayor to lead New York City, the city at the center of the universe.

(I will go out on a limb here: IMO the way it looks and is developing to my eye Mr. Mamdani the male "progressive" AOC counterpart poser is not likely to prevail in the race for the New York City mayor. But you never know, we are talking about Democrat party NYC politics here :)
