Actually, I can argue with the man. If 99% of what we are concerned about has no meaning, then life is basically meaningless. What does it matter if children are groomed and trafficked for sex with older perverts? Who cares if there's war or famine, or if you have a drug dealer on your corner?
And what about those stupid Founding Fathers of ours, most of whom gave up everything they had to give us the most free, prosperous nation on earth? Those dummies could have "truly lived their life" instead of worrying about all that stuff. Didn't they know they were going to die anyway?
